The 7th Youth Energy Dream League was divided into a ‘Youth League’ targeting university (graduate) students and a ‘Dream League’ for startup teams preparing for entrepreneurship and startups within three years, with four teams selected for each league, conducting research activities for five months since May.

At the final presentation, a total of 10 judges, including Lee Young-jo, Head of Planning and Management, and three experts from the Citizen Innovation Advisory Group, which provides external advice on management issues of Korea Midland Power, participated to offer perspectives on the research topics from an academic-industrial collaboration viewpoint.
Through fair and rigorous evaluation by the judges, a total of four teams, including the best teams and outstanding teams from the Youth and Dream Leagues, were selected and a total prize of 12 million won was awarded.
The grand prize was awarded to the ‘GLASSEA’ team of the Youth League, who researched ‘Coastal Sand Production from Recycled Glass’, and the ‘GOD TECH’ team of the Dream League, who researched ‘Development of Nickel-Based Resource Recycling Technology for Power Generation’, each receiving 3 million won in prize money.
