GODTECH Co., Ltd. (operator of ElCycle) has been selected for the Gyeongnam Nuclear Power Small and Medium Enterprise R&D project discovery and support project.
The Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Innovation Platform of Changwon National University, through the 'Next Generation Nuclear Energy Specialized Talent Development Industry-Academic Cooperation Council and Corporate Innovation Clinic', announced on the 10th that it has signed R&D agreements with seven companies related to the nuclear power field, including Doosan Enerbility, GODTECH Co., Ltd., Samhong Machinery, Bright Co., Ltd., PK Valve and Engineering, Daehwa I&T, and BHI Co., Ltd., centered around the themes discovered.
The Changwon National University and the companies will jointly promote ▲strengthening competitiveness in domestic and international nuclear power markets and facilitating related technological advancements ▲improving productivity and reducing costs ▲research results with academic significance regarding undisclosed technologies ▲contributing to future industries other than nuclear power ▲nurturing talented individuals with academic/practical capabilities ▲jointly pursuing ESG regeneration maintenance technologies for eco-friendly resource circulation.
Lee Jae-sun, head of the Smart Manufacturing Engineering Project Group of the Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Innovation Platform at Changwon National University, emphasized, "Through collaboration via this agreement, we aim to enhance the research capabilities of industry-academic cooperation, and we expect that important events for producing high-quality personnel that will be utilized not only by nuclear equipment manufacturers but also by public enterprises, as well as research with academic significance, will be generated."
