The Gyeongnam University LINC3.0 Project Team recently signed a business agreement with GODTECH Co., Ltd. at the 5th floor Industrial Cooperation Seminar Room in the Industry-University Cooperation Building.
This agreement was established to develop repair and regeneration technologies for raw materials and parts utilizing metallic additive manufacturing technology.
Through this agreement, both institutions promised to ▲ plan research projects and personnel training in the field of repair and regeneration of raw materials and parts ▲ facilitate personnel exchanges such as workforce training and practical talent development ▲ exchange technical information related to research, patents, and education ▲ and share equipment and facilities for joint utilization.
GODTECH's CEO Park Gi-deok stated, "Given the current international situation and the speed of technology development in Korea, it is necessary to secure technology for regenerating expensive non-ferrous metal raw materials and parts that are currently discarded cheaply," adding, "We will actively collaborate with the Gyeongnam University LINC3.0 Project Team's Smart Manufacturing ICC and Metallic Additive Research Center to contribute to the technological development of companies and the training of practical personnel in universities."
Kim Se-yoon, head of the Smart Manufacturing ICC Center at Gyeongnam University LINC3.0 Project Team, remarked, "It is predicted that there will be an increasing need for recycling technology and related personnel for expensive non-ferrous metal scrap and waste parts in the Gyeongnam region," stating, "We will strive to contribute to creating self-sustaining growth engines in Gyeongnam through scientific technology innovation and workforce training linked with the region's key industries in collaboration with Gattec."
